They have a large variety of Asian goods from every part of Asia. It's not just Korean or Japanese food...there are also a lot of Vietnamese and even some Indian items. Their baked goods are always fresh and tasty and they have a wonderful selection of produce. I'd also like to take a second to commend the employees. Even though it can be difficult with the language barriers they have always found someone to help answer any question that I've had. I live over an hour away and make a trip to the store monthly. I wish they would open another store in Sayre, PA!

I have been a frequent shopper now just this past year. This was a wonderful discovery for me as I began to explore more Asian cuisine in my own kitchen. The selection of ramen is amazing!! The store is always clean, employees are friendly, and there is a great variety of products with good prices.

Good selection. Typically Asian store for our part of the country. Got a big box of Asian pears :)

It's no Great Wall or 99 Ranch, but it was more than I was expecting! Excellent selection. Good quality groceries. I'm happy this is here.

Lots of fresh Asian produce, pantry staples, frozen goods, and snacks! Whatever Asian ingredient you're looking for, you'll likely find at Ren's.

All packed into one clean store. All employees wearing face masks. Produce very fresh. I found the prices very good. A few very good finds for my Korean BBQ dinner. !

Went to Ren's recently for the first time - and I'll definitely be back! The variety of product in this store is expansive, and I stocked up on plenty of snacks, ramen/udon, and other goodies for both myself and to send to friends. Plenty of frozen foods, fresh seafood options, and more which I will also be stocking up on soon. :) Staff here appear to be efficient and professional, and the location appeared to be nicely cleaned and well organized. All in all, a positive experience... and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

I have mixed but overall good feelings about this market. I will start with the one major con: the prices. Expect to pay higher than average prices for virtually everything in the store. It's likely supply and demand as there are no large Asian markets nearby. Tofu is cheaper at Walmart. Produce is somewhat cheaper here. For an Asian market in Ithaca, it's large. Compared to most cities though, it's smaller than average. However, don't let this fool you. I gave it four stars for a reason. The selection is quite good. Most everything is prepackaged, for better or worse, and there are no large packages of spices from what I could see, but you'll at least find most, if not all, of what you're shopping for. Of note, it was clean! The design was clean, and it's a recently opened store. It reminds me of the supermarkets in rural China. Many of the students may find that some of the small shops closer to campus have what they want, but there's something to be said for being the cleanest Asian market around. I'm sure that will gain them some extra business. Overall, it was worth the trip, which was about 45 minutes for us.
